Restaurant and Bar Recommendations

The following are all located within walking distance from the Chapel House. Always check hours as most places have varying schedules depending upon the season and sometimes the weather.

Ichiddo Ramen-  715-262-2023

This restaurant opened in Spring 2025 (same owner as Roadhouse) and is located on the main street on the south end. Take out and dine in options.

Muddy Waters- 715-262-5999

Multi level decks and known for their blues bands every Sunday afternoon.  The ribs and prime rib (only on weekends) are the best in town!  Favorite local spot any time of year.  Full bar (multiple bars as well as private party room) and offers take-out.

No name saloon/monkey bar-715-262-9803

This is a biker classic… you can see the Harleys parked outside on a beautiful sunny day.  The outdoor “monkey bar” has swings and bands/DJ’s many of the summer weekend nights.  This is a party/fun atmosphere and also a big spot to watch a sporting event or game on a Sunday afternoon.

Papa Tronnios’s Pizza 715-262-5131

Charming little pizza place next to the coffee shop serving pizza and wings daily with takeout and delivery available.

River City Sweets 715-262-2198

This cute shop on main street is one of the first shops as you drive into town on the main street.  They opened in Spring 2024 and serve ice cream and candy... specialty freeze dried candies can be found here.

Prescott Tap 715-262-3880

Sports bar with games and food…low key with patio next to the monkey bar.  Open daily with a full bar.

Roadhouse 715-262-2282

Versatile menu with great breakfasts but they are surprisingly known for their Sushi!! Yep, every Wednesday through Friday… the dragon roll is our favorite and if you hit  it right they may have their famous homemade Pho (the owner makes it fresh a couple of times each month)

Scabs Place – 715-262-4070

A must visit if you love small town bars… The “merch” can’t be beat… t-shirts and hats that say “thanks for picking Scabs” inexpensive drinks that make you feel like you stepped back in time not to mention pull tabs and some very cool live music on many weekends.  Check out their meat raffles during colder months!

Shrimp and Pizza (technically Point St. Croix marina and Pub but lovingly called just “shrimp and pizza” by the locals. 651-335-7750

Jimmy buffet vibes with its grass umbrellas and hand crafted (by owner Rosi) tropical cocktails… this place is only open in the summer so it is a must see your timing is right (see website for hours or call as it varies with the weather)  As the name says they have two food menu items- SHRIMP and PIZZA.  The shrimp are really the best in town and the views from the deck are spectacular.

The Kitchen Table 715-262-2223

Comfort-food classics specializing in breakfast and lunch.

Twisted oak coffee house 507-313-2516

Coffee and ice cream served daily… some breakfast sandwiches as well!  Cute spot for morning coffee.

Two Rivers Lodge Bar & Grill /Boat Drinks(lower level)- 715-262-2248

Owned by the same group as “The Smiling Moose” in Hudson WI this is a sports bar type restaurant type bar during the day (cool deck overlooking the river but gets a bit loud with the trains going by) and a bit of a “nightclub” for the young crowd (and some of the older crowd as well) later in the evening.  They often have DJ’s and dancing into the late hours of the night.  Boat Drinks is in the basement of this restaurant and is a more casual low key bar with a small patio…known for their shrimp sold by the piece.

Some other options if you don’t mind a drive…these are just our personal favorites but there are many more
